Kristin Tullis tells all about her horse, Bear Your Asset
Favorite classes include: Showmanship, Equitation, Hunter Under Saddle, Ranch Riding
and Ranch Rail classes.
Proudest accomplishments: “He’s accomplished way more than we ever thought we could together! I’m most proud of our two high points and 6 circuit championships from our first paint show- in the ranch division with Florida Paint Horse Club and his many ROM’s he’s earned through out 5 years together!”
Goals for 2023: Compete at the ARHA World Show in Ocala, FL, after showing 5 years of APHA pleasure shows. This team dabbled in ranch shows with SERHS for the past two years.
“I’m so proud of my versatile paint pony for not only placing top 10, but ending up 8th overall in the showmanship, 5th overall in halter and the one I’m most proud of, 3rd overall in senior ranch riding! Our next goal is to get to Pinto World and place top 5 in a class.”
Special Thanks: My mom Denise Tullis for always supporting us in all our adventures even when I said I wanted to take our western pleasure horse to start doing ranch shows.
My friend Heidi Lester for always being up for a horse adventure and for supporting me at all my shows even when she doesn’t take her horse, she’s always with us cheering us on.
My trainer Jeff Davis for not giving up on me and Owen. I know it was a long 8 years getting him to this point, but he’s proven he was beyond worth the patience we needed to have with him.
And a special shout out to our barn family back home for always following along with our shows and supporting us!
