Meet:
Lexi Edsall and her horse Shiner Surprize
Lexi Edsall recently had a custom session with Ryan Geiger Photography, along with her 9 year old palomino quarter horse Shiner Surprize (AKA Nike).
Lexi and Nike have been a team for almost 5 years. Lexi and her trainer Jeremy May both show Nike. They compete in Ranch Trail, Ranch Rail, and Ranch Riding. Lexi says she enjoys the Ranch Riding and Ranch Trail the most.
Lexi says that “Nike is a sweet but nervous horse and he is very strange at times. He is an amazing horse to have though. My favorite thing about him is that he is always trying.”

Nike has a big list of accomplishments. Lexi says “ I have won 2 World Championships in PHBA, 3 reserve World Championships in PHBA, and a level 1 East Top Ten.” In addition, Jeremy has been reserve world champion at the PHBA World Show and Top 10 twice at the Congress.
Lexi says that is a personal goal of hers; to place at the Congress one day as well.
Lexi is under the guidance of Jeremy and Rebekah May, who helped match Lexi with Nike as well.
Lexi also said “I have to give a shout out to my parents for always pushing me through and believing in me, my trainers for making me the rider I am today, and my friends who are always supporting me from home”
