Meet:
Brayden Stine and his 7 year old quarter horse mare, Shez For Certain (AKA Jolene) are pictured above.
Brayden and his two horses Shez for Certain and ATI Tequila Rose (AKA Mia) recently had a photoshoot with Ryan Geiger Photography.
Brayden says his parents own both of his horses. He shows Jolene currently in various western pleasure classes, and he shows Mia in the all-around ranch events.

Brayden and his horses are certainly making a splash lately. He qualified with both of his horses for the 2024 AQHYA World Championship show. He will be competing in the Level 3 Youth, Level 2 Youth, and Level 1 Champion of Champions this year!
Brayden was Top 6 at the 2023 All American Quarter Horse Congress, Bronze Champion at the 2024 Nutrena AQHA Level 1 East Championships, and he won the Rookie Youth at the 2024 Nutrena AQHA Level 1 East Championships.
We asked Brayden his thoughts on his first congress last year. He said “Last year was my first time at Congress, and it was an incredible experience. Congress has an amazing atmosphere and, being one of the biggest shows, it brings an exciting feel because you’re competing at the highest level with many other people. I also really like that Congress lasts just under a month, so you get to be there for a while, which I find very fun. I enjoy all shows, but I especially love those with the highest level of competition because they require you to have everything perfect, which is what you really work for.”
We also asked what Jolene was like.
Brayden said “Jolene is very chill and she listens very well in and out of the pen. Her personality definitely reflects that she enjoys her job and likes being a show horse. Jolene seems to really enjoy being ridden and the same for showing. It’s super nice when your horse enjoys their job as much as Jolene does.”
We are in awe of Brayden. He is a a great guy, humble, and cleaning up in the show pen. We can’t wait to see his future accomplishments in and out of the show pen.
Shout Outs:
“My trainer Jeff Geiger has taught me everything I know about horses. He’s taught me how to ride correctly, present my horse, and everything else I know about riding and showing horses.”
“My parents have been amazing in supporting me in my passion of showing horses. My Dad is the behind the scenes guy and is always at the rail to cheer me on. My mom and sister also enjoy showing horses and are my biggest cheerleaders.”
